Peace With God Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped theme prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that because I have been made right through faith, I have peace with You through Jesus Christ. Paul's peace is not just a feeling. It means the war between You and me is over. I have lived as if it were still going. I have come to You on guard, expecting the worst. But the worst has already been settled. Jesus paid for it. There is nothing left to fight about. Help me stop fighting. Change how I come to You. Let me walk into this peace as if it were real right now, not just something I hope for one day. The God I am talking to is not against me. We are at peace because of what Jesus did. Let me live like that is true. Let me speak from that peace. Let me rest in it. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
