Teens Prayer for December 29th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 90 says, "teach me to number my days, that I may gain a wise heart." The year is almost over. Help me look back at it honestly. What did I waste? What grew in me? Who did I hurt? Who did I love well? Do not let that list become guilt. Let it become a way to learn. Most of the time I wasted, I did not even know I was wasting it. Help me go into next year a little more awake than I was this year. Name three lessons from this year and help me carry them forward on purpose. Amen.
