Teens Prayer for December 22nd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Romans 8 says nothing can separate me from Your love in Christ Jesus. Not death, not life, not angels, not demons, not the future, not the present, not height, not depth, not anything else. Nothing. I keep acting like a bad year or a failure could pull me away. But they cannot. Let that be the verse I rest on as Christmas comes. Your love is not just for the happy seasons. It is strong and unbreakable. It holds when everything else breaks. Paul listed every possible thing on purpose. He wanted to leave no room for doubt. He left none for me either. Whatever I have done this year, whatever I will still do, whatever is happening in the world, none of it has the power to separate me from Your love. Let me end this year resting in that love, not still trying to earn what You have already given me. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
