Teens Prayer for December 15th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in Luke 1, Mary was a teenager, scared, in a hard place, and she sang. She said, 'My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.' I am not in her exact situation, but I am in my own hard season. Help me respond the same way: not panic, not denial, but praise. Big or small, help me magnify You today. Let who You are be louder than my problems when I talk about my life. Lately, my complaints have been louder than the truth. Mary's situation was worse than mine, and she still sang. Help me see my life in the right proportions, with You at the center. Amen.
