Teens Prayer for December 13th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in Luke 2 the angels sang, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace." Peace feels far off right now. The news is loud and grim. I do not have to fix the whole world. Make me a small contributor to peace right where I am. At my school, in the hallway, at my locker, let me not add noise. At home, at the dinner table, in the car, let me bring calm, not more stress. One peaceful person is its own kind of gift. Make me one. Let Your peace start in me this December and spread to my family, not stopping at the front door but filling every room. Amen.
