Teens Prayer for December 10th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Philippians 2 says Jesus was equal with You, but He did not hold on to that. He made Himself nothing. He became a servant on purpose so He could come close to us.
That is a hard kind of love. Most of the time, I think love means getting bigger or getting noticed. But Jesus showed love by getting smaller.
Help me follow Him this week. When I want to look big, help me choose small. When I want credit, help me serve quietly. When I want to be seen, help me move toward the people others overlook.
That kind of love really does change things. Let me take one small step lower today.
Amen.
