Teens Prayer for November 26th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 100 says to make a joyful noise to You, all the earth. Thanksgiving at my house might be messy. People might fight. The food might not be that great. I might not even feel joyful. But You do not wait for a perfect day. Help me bring one real piece of joy into this complicated day. One thank-You spoken out loud. One true this was good said to whoever made the food. One laugh I did not fake. That counts. You said the joyful noise is for all the earth, so my ordinary dining table counts too. The Thanksgiving I am about to live can be worship if You make it so. Help me make it worship, even if no one else at the table does. Amen.
