Teens Prayer for November 20th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 119 says, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Hiding Your word in me means knowing some of it without a screen. I do not memorize much. The verses I do know come up when I need them, at three in the morning, in a hard conversation. Help me hide one verse this week. Just one. Buried in me, ready when something pulls it up. Memorization is not a school exercise; it is putting tools in a toolbox for an emergency I cannot predict. One verse, Lord. Pick which one. Then help me actually do it. The kids I admire most are usually the ones with a few real verses memorized. I want to be one of them. Amen.
