Teens Prayer for November 16th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 90 says, "satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days." I want real satisfaction at the start of my day. Not just survival. Not just caffeine. Actual satisfaction from You. Let one verse, one thought, one quiet minute be enough to fill me this morning. Today will hand me a lot of empty calories, things that look like they will help but do not last. If I do not start with You, I will keep reaching for things that leave me empty. Whatever I take in first thing shapes the rest of my day. So start my morning with Your love. Even one honest minute with You is enough. I do not want to run on substitutes that fade by noon. Fill me with what lasts. Amen.
