Teens Prayer for November 15th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Psalm 23 says that goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I do not always see them when they come. But when I look back, I can find them. Tonight, let me look back at this month and find one good thing and one kind thing I missed at the time. Maybe it was help on a hard day. Maybe it was a friend who stayed when I needed them. Help me trust that Your goodness is still behind me, still coming. You are not pulling me from ahead. You are walking with me from behind. Thank You for what I did not notice at the time. Amen.

  2. Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
  3. Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
