Teens Prayer for November 14th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You said in Psalm 138 that You will perfect what concerns me. Some things I cannot finish on my own. Relationships. My own character. The prayer I have been praying for years. You will finish them. Not always how I expected. But You will not walk away from what You started in me. Some of what concerns me has been that way for years and looks no different. But You are not in a rush. Be patient with my impatience. Keep doing the long work in the parts of me that have not caught up yet. The fact that You are doing the perfecting, and not me, is the relief I have been needing. Amen.
