Teens Prayer for November 11th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says to live at peace with everyone, if we can, as much as it depends on us. November means family I do not always agree with. Help me bring peace into rooms where I have been bringing edge. I do not have to pretend we agree. I just want to be someone who does not make things worse. Help me not snap back. Help me not roll my eyes. Help me listen more than I argue. I can disagree with someone and still not poison the room. Sometimes peace will not come from both sides. That is not mine to fix. Help me do my side. Let me be that person, even one time this week. Amen.
