Teens Prayer for November 10th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Your Word says in Proverbs 16, "We plan our way, but You make our steps firm." I make a lot of plans. I write lists on my phone. I map out my whole day. Most of those plans will not happen the way I think they will. And that is okay. The point is not for me to control the day, but for You to lead it. So let me make my list this morning and then hold it loosely. Directing the day is Your job. Staying faithful in each moment is what You help me do. My plans are not bad. They are just not final. Help me treat my list like a starting place, not a strict contract. When the day rearranges, help me see that You are leading me down a different path than I planned. Help me follow instead of fighting. Most of those changes are not interruptions. They are Your real plan for me. Help me stop calling them interruptions and start calling them Your leading. Amen.
