Teens Prayer for November 5th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says it is okay to be angry, but do not sin. I am angry today. I am bringing it to You instead of sitting with it all night. Help me feel it without letting it turn into something bad. By morning, this will look different. Tonight I want to let it go instead of going over it again and again. Help me be still. You do not say anger is wrong. You say, “Do not let it lead me into sin.” Most of the time, by morning, the anger is smaller because I prayed instead of texting. Let tonight be one of those nights. Help me stop going over it and start resting. What I am angry about cannot be fixed at midnight. It can wait. My rest cannot. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
