Teens Prayer for October 26th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 1 says the person who delights in Your law is like a tree planted by water. Delight is a strong word. I do not always delight in Your word. Sometimes I just read it. That is okay too. But sometimes, show me delight. A verse that hits. A phrase that makes me stop and reread. That is what plants me deeper. Let me read more this week than I scroll. That is realistic, and it is a real start. Delight is not always emotional. Sometimes, delight is when a verse changes how I see a person at lunch. That counts. Plant me by reading. Plant me by sitting with what I read. Plant me by trusting that my roots are fed by Your word more than by my mood. Amen.
