Teens Prayer for October 24th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Romans 12 says to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. That is my true worship. So my body is part of this prayer. What I eat, what I do, how much I sleep, how I use it, what I look at, all of it is worship or it is not. Today, let me offer my body, not just my brain. Be honored in what I do, not just in what I think. That is harder than it sounds and more obvious than I want to admit. Most of my worship is supposed to be how I live my body through Tuesday, not just the songs I sing on Sunday. Make my Tuesday body-life a form of worship. Amen.
