Teens Prayer for October 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 46 says You are my refuge and strength, a very present help when things are hard. That is the part I keep needing today. Not help from far off. Not help I cannot see. I need You right here, in the room with me. There is something I am scared to face today. But You are already there, before I even walk in. That is the help. Walk in with me. What I am facing may seem small compared to wars or storms, but it still feels huge to me. Still, the size of what I face does not change how close You are. You are already there, the same as You were there for the one who wrote that psalm. You are the help, and You also send help my way. Let me stop only asking You to send something and start seeing that You are already standing where I am headed. That changes how I walk in. Amen.
