Teens Prayer for October 21st
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says to come into Your presence with thanks and praise first. Not last. Not if there is time. First. I usually do it the other way. I ask for what I want and then maybe say thanks at the end. Today I want to start with thanks. Three real things from yesterday that were good. Let me name them before I ask for anything. When I remember what You have already done, I worry less. I trust You more. This order is not about You needing something from me. It is about me needing to remember who You have been. Help me start with thanks today. Help me keep doing it most days going forward. Amen.
