Teens Prayer for October 12th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Psalm 27 says, "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." David almost lost heart. He admits it. But he kept going because he believed he would see Your goodness here, not just after death, but in this life. Let me believe the same. Your goodness is not all postponed to heaven. Some of it is in the next month, the next year, this whole season. Help me see it when it comes. Heaven is real. And so is now. Seeing Your goodness here is what kept David going through hard years. Let it keep me going through whatever this year holds. Amen.
