Teens Prayer for October 5th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Lamentations 3 says Your mercies are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness. Even when I do not show up, You do. Today, let me build on that. When my alarm goes off, and I do not want to face the day, remind me that I am not building on my own strength. I am building on Yours. The mornings I have started badly have not changed Your love. Your mercies were here yesterday. They are here today. They will be here tomorrow. That kind of steady love is strong enough to hold my whole life. Let me build on it today. Amen.
