Teens Prayer for September 26th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Jesus said He would give us His peace, not the kind the world gives. The world gives stuff, distraction, and a feed full of jokes. Your peace is different. It is what stays when the distraction wears off. Give me that this evening, when the noise quiets and I am just me. Real silence is not always comfortable. Be there in it. Your peace lasts longer than any scroll or video ever could. Teach me to want that more. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
