Teens Prayer for September 25th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1 that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. A sound mind is what I want most. My head spins. My thoughts run away. Sometimes I cannot even follow my own conversations because the background panic is so loud. Give me a sound mind today. Not numb. Not fake-calm. Just clear. Give me the power to do what is in front of me. Give me love to choose people well. And give me the quiet underneath it all that says I am not running on adrenaline. Because adrenaline runs out, and all that is left is exhaustion. Help me notice when I am about to switch back to panic, and choose Your peace instead. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
