Teens Prayer for September 17th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You said in Isaiah 41, 'Do not fear, for I am with You. Do not be dismayed, for I am Your God.' I need that right now. There is something hard in front of me. It might be a test, a fight, or a choice I do not want to make. It feels heavy. But it is not impossible. The difference between hard and impossible is who I am leaning on. I do not want to give up. I do not want to drift into that place where I stop trying. Catch me before I get there. Take my fear and turn it into trust. You are with me. I am not doing this alone. Be the ground under my feet. Stand me on who You are. Amen.
