Teens Prayer for September 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 90 says, "teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom." Counting my days is uncomfortable. I act like I have unlimited time and waste a lot of it. The truth is, I have a lot of days, but not endless ones, and I do not get to know which one is last. Help me spend today like it counts, because it does. Not anxiously. Just on purpose. Help me put down one bad habit, like wasting hours on my phone, and pick up one good one before the year ends, not because I am scared, but because the time is genuinely worth it. Numbering my days is not morbid. It is honest. Help me know what today is worth and act on it, not perfectly, just deliberately. Amen.
