Teens Prayer for September 10th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Philippians 1 says You started a good work in me, and You will not quit until it is done. I am not finished yet. That is true for every Christian I look up to, too. They are still being shaped. I keep treating the middle of my story like a failure. It is not. It is the middle of a long sentence You are still writing. Help me have patience with the unfinished version of myself, especially on hard school days and when friendships are messy. The work is good. The work is still going. I do not need to be the final draft to be living the life You meant for me. The finished version is beyond what I can see, and You are building it today out of who I am right now. Teach me to trust what You are doing in me. Amen.
