Teens Prayer for September 9th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Romans 12 says to live at peace with everyone, as far as it depends on me. I have been doing the bare minimum and calling it peace. There is a person I have been cold to. I have my reasons, and some of them are real. But cold is not the same as peace. Show me one warmer thing I can do this week. Not fake. Just a little warmer than yesterday. Some conflicts will not get a clean fix. Some of them are mine to keep working at for years. But You are not asking me to fix everything. You are asking me to do my part. Help me do my part, and help me stop keeping score with this person. Amen.
