Teens Prayer for September 7th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says to trust You with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. I know I often figure things out first and then ask You to agree. That is not real trust. Today, help me bring the question to You before I decide. About a friendship. About a class I might drop. About something that scares me. Not, "Tell me what I already chose." Just, "What do You think?" I will listen. I will not rush to the answer I want. Asking first feels strange and uncomfortable. Help me stay in that discomfort long enough to hear something different from what I planned. You promise to make my paths straight when I lean on You first. Teach me to lean. Amen.
