Teens Prayer for September 5th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Jesus said in Matthew 11, "Come to Me, all You who are weary, and I will give You rest." I am tired, but I want to earn that rest first. I want to finish my work and fix my mood before I come to You. That is not what He said. He did not say, "Come when You are ready." He said, "Come weary." So I am bringing the weary me. I have nothing finished. I am still mid-mess. My mind is full. My heart is heavy. Receive me anyway. Let me set down what I am carrying, not because I am clever, but because You said to. Your invitation is not for people who have proved they are good enough. It is for people who are honestly tired. I am one of them today. Amen.
