Teens Prayer for August 27th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in Numbers 14, You asked how long Your people would refuse to believe You. I do not love that question pointed at me. But it is true. There are places where I have just stopped trusting You. About my future. About a relationship. About what I am supposed to do with my life. Forgive me for calling it being realistic when it is really just cynicism. Help me believe You again, where I have quit. Not with my eyes closed, but honestly, by taking one next step that says, I think God is still in this. Show me where that is today. I have dropped old prayers without even meaning to. Pick them back up in me. Make me a person who keeps believing even when it is hard. Amen.
