Teens Prayer for August 14th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 92 says You make me glad through what You do. It is evening now. Help me look back at today and find what was really good. Not fake gladness. Just what was true. A small win. A meal I enjoyed. A conversation that did not blow up. A quiet minute. Thank You. There is a lot I could replay that went wrong. I do not need to do that tonight. Help me name two real things You did, even on a hard day. Then help me let the rest go. It is easier to complain about ten bad things than to name two good ones. But choosing gladness changes how I wake up tomorrow. Tonight I choose honest, small gladness. It is enough to sleep on. Quiet me into Your rest. Amen.
