Teens Prayer for August 2nd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Ephesians 1 says You work everything according to Your own plan. That is supposed to comfort me, and sometimes it does. But if I am honest, it also scares me a little because I do not understand a lot of what is happening right now. Friends are moving away. There is a family change I did not choose. I cannot control whether people like me. Help me trust You with the parts of my life I cannot write out ahead of time. I am not asking to see the whole story. I am just asking for enough light to take the next honest step. You are not making this up as You go. You are not surprised. Even when I am caught off guard, You are not. Let me rest in that, even when I do not get the rest of the answer. You are holding the parts I cannot see. So I will trust the One holding them. Amen.
