Teens Prayer for July 16th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in Exodus 16, the people gathered manna every morning. Just enough for the day. When they tried to save it, it went bad. I do not want to live like that, but I do. I want to live a week ahead. I want guarantees about exams, about applications, about the people I love. Teach me to come back to You each morning instead of trying to store up answers I was never meant to hold. Give me what I need for today. I will trust that You will be here again tomorrow with what that day needs. Help me face what is in front of me without panicking about what is not. The day You gave me is enough. Stop me from holding too tight to a future I cannot see yet. I will take today's help as it comes, and I will trust You for the rest. Amen.
