Teens Prayer for June 30th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, it is the end of June. Half the year is done. Jesus prayed that His friends would be one, and tonight I am one of those friends. This half-year has been a lot. Let me end it quietly. There were better days and worse days. There were friends I am grateful for, and friends I hurt and have not yet said sorry. There were prayers I prayed badly and a few that surprised me with how real they felt. Receive all of it, God. Forgive what was sin. I am not going to measure my growth tonight. Let me close my eyes without the list. July comes in the morning. Let it find me already at rest. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
