Teens Prayer for June 29th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I sat down to pray, and my head is loud. There is one thought I keep playing over and over. A comeback I wish I said. A win I keep imagining in my head. I know I need to stop feeding it. Help me lay it down tonight. Jesus, You are not impressed when I try to look good for others. You see past the mask I wear. Use this prayer anyway. Use my scattered brain. You keep praying for me even when I am not impressive. Help me come back tomorrow. Same chair. Same five minutes. Even when nothing big happens, make me a person who keeps coming back to You.
Amen.

- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
Verses to pray
Pray these slowly, one line at a time. Scripture quoted from a public-domain translation.
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
