Teens Prayer for June 21st
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I don't feel anything dramatic about being a Christian today, and I think I'm supposed to. But Your Word says You are more beautiful than anyone, and grace comes from You. I don't have to make it up. Not feeling something big doesn't change what's actually true between us. So I'll keep doing the small things anyway. Read the chapter. Pray the boring prayer. Show up to church even when nothing moves me this week. Be kind at home. Do my work without complaining. Help the friend who asked. My faith is held by Christ, not by how strong my feelings are on any given day. Move me into the next ordinary act. Steady me.
Amen.
