Teens Prayer for June 7th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, my friend just got chosen for something I wanted too. I said I was happy, but inside I was not. The envy has been sitting in my chest since I heard. I do not want to feel this way. Take it from me. There is enough good for both of us. Her win is not my loss. Help me text her something real, not a fake one-word congrats. Help me show up tomorrow and actually be there, not just pretend. She is not my enemy. She is my friend. Let me be glad for her and mean it. Amen.
