Teens Prayer for May 25th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, do not leave me. You promised in Your Word not to be far from me. Even on a normal morning, I do not want to start the day on my own. Stay close. Help me slow down instead of rushing. Help me say good morning to my family like I really love them, not like they are in my way. Help me get to school on time without the stress of cutting it close. Help me listen in first period instead of trying to finish work I should have done last night. Help me be patient with the teacher I am ready to be mad at. The day will have surprises. Fill it with Your mercy before it even starts. Let me walk into it without pretending to be perfect. Amen.

  3. Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
