Teens Prayer for May 24th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You did not turn away my prayer. You did not take Your mercy from me. Even when I gave up on myself, You did not give up on me. I did the thing I told You I would not do again. Receive me back. Tonight, I will not pretend the slip did not happen. I will name it in plain words—just what I did and why I told myself it was okay. Tomorrow I will not do it again just to prove a point. I will tell the person who knows. I will do one small different thing. The turn is the point, not the regret. Move me. Amen.
