Teens Prayer for May 19th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the school year is almost over. I am tired and kind of sad at the same time. People I thought I knew are not who I thought they were. Things keep changing, and it throws me off. Help me stay steady. Finals are coming. The seniors are leaving. Summer is next. Then a whole new grade. None of it is as sure as it looks. But You stay the same when everything else shifts. Help me finish this year well. Help me be kind to my classmates this week, not just checked out. Help me notice the people I might not see much longer. Help me say something real to them while I still can. Hope is not just feeling happy. Hope is knowing You are still writing the story. Amen.
