Teens Prayer for May 17th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I have to tell a friend something they do not want to hear tomorrow. Jesus told hard truth with gentle love. Help me do a small version of that. I will probably stumble over my words. They might get hurt. I do not have to control how it goes. Help me show up with truth in love and leave the rest to You. Take the worst case I have been playing in my head all afternoon. This friendship has made it through hard things before. It is not as breakable as my fear says it is. Give me one clear sentence to start with. Help me listen more than I talk after that. And stay close to both of us when it is over. Amen.
