Teens Prayer for May 15th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, here is my Tuesday: school, the talk I am dreading with my counselor, practice, dinner with my cousins. Acts 13:39 says that everyone who believes is made right with You through Jesus. That means I do not have to earn my way into Your good graces before the day even starts. I am already loved. So help me do the work in front of me without making it my whole identity. Help me speak kindly to my counselor, who is just doing their job. Help me sit at dinner without checking my phone every six minutes. Help me ask my cousins about their real lives instead of just giving my rehearsed update. When the day gets heavy, help me be honest with You about it. Hold this whole Tuesday, because it already belongs to You. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
