Teens Prayer for May 14th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I keep thinking I'm almost over this habit, and then it sneaks back in. Your Word says I get to share in what Jesus went through, and that means even this small fight counts. Let it count as suffering with Him.
Tonight: I delete it again. Tomorrow: I won't be surprised when the want comes back. I'll text the person who knows about it the moment it does.
The point is not perfect repentance. The point is the steady direction of my life — turning, falling, getting up, turning again, with You patient at every step.
The shame voice in my head wants to tell me another fall proves I'm hopeless. It doesn't. It only proves I'm still in apprenticeship. Take me back. Give me a small portion of strength for tomorrow.
Amen.
