Teens Prayer for May 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I do not feel like loving anybody this week. Not in a big dramatic way. Just in a small, low, tired way. Your Word says that keeping Your commandments is how I show I love You. So help me do that even when nothing inside me wants to cooperate. Be kind to my sister at breakfast. Answer my dad's question with a full sentence. Help the friend who asked for my notes without sighing about it. Do my homework. Do not snap. My feelings are tired, but my actions can still be honest. I do not know if the warmth will come back. But I know my obedience matters to You either way. Give me the strength to keep going. Help me love the people in front of me today. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
