Teens Prayer for May 11th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I do not know how to describe myself honestly. Everything about me keeps changing — my taste, my mood, my friends, my plans. But You do not change. You promised to be with me always, even to the end of the world. That is the only constant I have.
You see all the versions of me. The person I show online. The person I am at school. The person I am at home. The person I am alone at midnight. None of them shocks You. None of them is the whole me.
Make me one real person, slowly, over time. Tonight is one small step. I am admitting I do not have it together. Receive me anyway.
Amen.
