Teens Prayer for May 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the mornings smell like cut grass again. Help me speak plainly today. Here is what is in front of me: finals coming, the friend who is going through it, the project that is half done, and the way I have been eating junk food. Receive each piece of this morning. Help me not blow finals up bigger than they are. Help me show up for my friend without trying to fix everything. Help me work on the project for thirty minutes before I decide I cannot do it. Help me eat real food. This is a normal day. Meet me inside it. Amen.
