Teens Prayer for April 26th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You gave Your body for me. Tonight, I remember that I am held by something I did not earn and cannot lose. I did not have a remarkable day. I had a normal day with two small moments of grace. Somebody said something kind about my work. Somebody else apologized to me for something I had not even been mad about. Thank You for those. I had one moment I am not proud of. I let a friend make fun of someone in front of me, without saying anything. I am sorry for that. Tomorrow, I will at least change the subject if it happens again. Help me rest tonight. New mercy is waiting.

Amen.

  3. Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
