Teens Prayer for April 19th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, this week was heavy in a way I can't fully explain. When Jesus died, the curtain in the temple tore in two — from top to bottom. At the worst moment, something opened. Help me trust that. The heaviness is not the whole story. There is an opening somewhere I can't see yet. Until then, help me with the small things. The walk after school. The dinner I almost skipped. The chapter I've been meaning to finish. The text I owe a friend. None of it fixes my mood. But all of it is You building something in me that lasts. Hope isn't me feeling cheerful right now. It's me knowing this week is held by something bigger than this week. Steady my next ordinary step. Tomorrow exists. So do You — the One who tore the curtain open for me.
Amen.
