Teens Prayer for April 11th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, I do not always know who I am. I shift to match whatever room I am in. At school, I act one way. At church I act another. It is like I am a chameleon, always changing color.

But Your Word says in Romans 6:5 that if I have been planted with Jesus in His death, I will also share in His resurrection. That means there is a true me, hidden for now, growing into something I cannot yet see.

Help me trust that, even when I do not feel sure. The shifting may keep happening for a while. Help me notice it. Help me bring every version of me to You, even the messy ones, without trying to clean up first.

You see all of me, and You do not look away. Pull me, slowly, on purpose, toward being one person in every room. Not a new me. Just a quieter, more honest me.

With time. With You.

Amen.
