Teens Prayer for April 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the trees outside went from bare to bright green overnight. That is how fast You show up. Sometimes I forget to be glad about being loved. I just take it in like air and then complain when something else goes wrong. Make me a person who notices the kindness in this day before I notice the irritations. Today: thank You out loud for one thing before I check my phone. Look my mom in the eye when I say good morning. Get to school with five minutes to spare instead of running. Small signs that this is Your day, given from Your hand. I need You to fill it with what I need. Amen.
