Teens Prayer for March 30th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I am sitting in a heavy mood I did not invite. I do not know exactly where it came from. You already went into the worst of it for me. You gave Your life. You took my place. You carried what I could not carry. The heaviness I feel is real, but it is not the last word. Hope is not me feeling cheerful. It is me knowing this room is not all there is. Keep me doing the small obediences anyway. Eat. Drink water. Text the friend who has been asking. Get into bed at a reasonable time. None of it lifts the mood right now. All of it is part of the longer story You are writing. Steady me. Tomorrow exists. So does new mercy.
Amen.
